Learning Flash from the Master

I was just checking the photo book offerings over at Amazon and I noticed that Joe McNally’s newest book, The Hot Shoe Diaries, is slated to be in stock this coming Sunday.  I’m hoping that there will be a fat supply of them when I head to the Peachpit store at Photoshop World next week.  I am a huge McNally fan and I always enjoy sitting in on his classes because Joe doesn’t just teach flash photography, he also entertains with stories from his countless adventures in the world of photography.  His last book, The Moment it Clicks, offered a look into his world and this latest offering serves up even more but this time with an emphasis on teaching the craft of flash photography.  If you just can’t wait until Next week, head on over to the Peachpit website and download a preview in PDF format that previews some of the great content from the new book.  You can find the sample excerpts here.
