I just love it when I come home to find a heavy box on the doorstep, especially when I am pretty sure that it is from the printer. Wednesday afternoon I found another one of those heavy boxes, which meant that my Lightroom book was finished with its first printing and on its way to Peachpit warehouses. I love unwrapping that first copy and checking out the fruits of my labor.
This newest book in the Snapshots to Great Shots series is one of my favorites because I am such a Lightroom fan. I really believe that it is one of the most important advances in photography since the digital camera. Of course there are some who would say that the digital camera was not an advance, but that’s a whole different story. My Lightroom book is not a complete A-Z accounting of every feature in Lightroom. Instead, it invokes the same spirit as my camera books in that it just covers the most important features that let you hit the ground and start processing your images.
The book isn’t quite yet ready for shipping but you can pre-order your copy and it will be on its way to you in no time at all. Just head on over to the My Books page and click the link for your favorite retailer.
