My New Lightroom Book Is Available for Pre-Order

It seems like I just started working on it a couple of weeks ago and here it is, my new book, Photoshop Lightroom: From Snapshots to Great Shots is ready for you to pre-order. This was a really fun, if not challenging book to write. Fun because Lightroom is a program that I use almost every day and I love teaching people what I know. Challenging because I was working with the beta and there were a lot of changes to the program early on. Not big changes mind you, but every time they would put out a new release I had to download and install just to make sure it wasn’t something that was going to change the way the program would look or act.

I wrote this book very much the same way that I did the Elements book. It doesn’t cover every single feature in Lightroom but it does give you all the information you need to import, organize, and process your images so that they look their very best. Then, I walk you though the process of making prints, creating a web gallery, posting images to Flickr and a whole lot more. And even though I wrote the book using Lightroom version 4, I tried to keep things nice and simple so that those of you using version 3 or even version 2 will benefit.

The book is in full production mode and it shouldn’t be too long before it’s available for purchase but you can pre-order your copy right now. It’s now listed on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and the Peachpit Press website. Also, if you are at Photoshop World, be sure to stop in to the Peachpit book store on the Expo floor. You can buy signed copies of my books right on the spot (although the Lightroom book won’t be there).

Look forward to seeing/buying/reading a copy. Thanks, Jeff.

Very much enjoy your writing style in previous books.
