Create Cool Logos and Buttons in a Snap

I popped in to my son’s room the other night to see what he was up to and he called me over to his computer to see something cool that one of his friends showed him. Usually when he says this I am expecting to see some Mind Craft or Modern Warefare 3 video that he has seen on YouTube. But this time I was really surprised at what he was playing with. It was a website called CoolText.com and it really is cool.

On the surface, the site seems pretty simplistic, just pick a logo style, type in the text you want to appear, and hit the render button to create your own custom logo. What is really cool though is the fact that you can customize the heck out of it by changing fonts, colors, sizes, and other variables depending on the design. When you are done, you can have something that extremely cool and personalized.

There are 41 different basic designs to choose from but with all the different fonts and other options, the actual design combos are limitless (or at least higher than I would want to count).

But you aren’t just limited to logos. The site also has a button creator that is just as customizable as the logo maker and allows you to select fonts, sizes, shapes, colors, and even button behaviors like mouse-overs.

CoolText Graphics Generator is a ton of fun and a great way to make your next logo look like you spent some serious time in Photoshop. You don’t have to tell anyone that you created it with just a couple of clicks of the mouse.

Welcome back to old school of GIMP 1.x from previous decade ;-)
Maybe it’s not pro design, but works and bring warm memories every time I see it
