An Afternoon in Death Valley

I wrapped up my business in Las Vegas a little early yesterday so I jumped in my car and took a drive out to Death Valley. This was my first time visiting the park and I didn’t have a lot of time but I can definitely say that it won’t be my last trip there. It is a landscape unlike any I have ever seen before. The rock formations are truly unique and I had a blast climbing around the legendary sand dunes. I even got a little lucky when the sun dropped beneath the clouds and started painting the landscape with some nice light.

I’m hopping back on a plane this morning and winging my way back to the East coast, where I will have more time to work on my images but I thought I would share a few of my picks with you.

Have a great weekend and if you are in the DC area, don’t forget to grab your camera and check out the cherry blossoms in DC.
