I’m feeling much better today but I am skipping the normal Photowalkpro subject matter to take a day to thank the men and women of the Armed Forces of the United States. I have never served but I have plenty of family that has. My father is a Marine (not active duty, but you never say “former Marine”). My two brothers served in the Army and the Air Force. My father-in-law was a Navy Captain who flew in the Viet Nam war. My Uncle served in Desert Storm, my cousin was in the Army, and on and on. Some of them saw battle and some of them served during peace time. but it doesn’t matter when they served because their purpose was always the same, to provide safety and protection for my country and my way of life.
So, to my relatives that served and all the other men and women who have or are currently serving in the Armed Forces, I give a sincere thank you. Thank you for your patriotism, your honor, your sense of duty, and most of all, your sacrifice. Bless you all.
By the way, I have closed comments from this post, not because I don’t value everyone’s opinion, but because this post stands on its own as a way of giving thanks to people who sacrifice of themselves. There’s no need for further comment.
