It’s that time again folks, time to head to the WorldWide Photowalk website and get yourself registered for one of the hundreds of photowalks that will take place on July 24th. Photowalk sites actually started going live this weekend and the web team over at the Kelby Media Group have done a fantastic job of updating the official website, making it even easier to participate as a walker or even a leader.
I’m going to be hosting a walk in historic Georgetown this year. For those of you that went on my Georgetown photowalk a couple of years ago, you already know the route. It is full of historic locations, great architecture, and lots of little surprises around each corner. If you want to join me for my photowalk you need to head over to my registration page and sign up. But don’t wait to long, my photowalk is limited to just 50 participants and my last two have filled up pretty quickly. You can find the registration page here.
If you are interested in leading your own photowalk check out the main World Wide Photowalk page and click on the Lead A Walk link. Also, make sure you watch the video on the main page for more information from Scott and the gang for more information.
Finally, if you have any questions about photowalks in general you can read my Guide to Photowalking. Also, I have set up an email address for you so you can ask any general questions you might have about leading or participating in a photowalk. Please don’t send any questions about issues you might be having with registration or any other related subjects dealing with the official website. You can send your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org
So check your calendar, locate your city, and get yourself signed up because we are going to have a blast.
