Hey everyone, I just received word that my latest book, Nikon D3000 – From Snapshots to Great Shots is available for pre-order. I expect to have the writing all wrapped up by the end of this month if all goes according to plan (maybe sooner if I get a few more snow days). I don’t have an official shipping date but I would expect to see it on store shelves by around the beginning of April. I’m also checking out the possibility of another book after that but I don’t want to announce anything just yet because you all know how things go in the camera market. Just when you decide on one thing, BANG, here comes another camera out of the gate.
I did get word that a Canon 7D book might also be coming in the near future, not by me but another author. Hey, I can’t get to all of them. I do know that I have been getting a lot of requests for one so I will keep everyone up to date on any future releases in the Snapshots series.

Speaking of my books, a while back I gave away some copies of my Nikon D5000 book on Twitter and Izabela Korwel won herself a copy. Well, I didn’t realize it until just a yesterday but she put up a great review of the book over on her blog. I really wasn’t expecting a write-up but I really do appreciate the kind words. I have to say that I really do get all warm and fuzzy when my books are able to help someone with their pursuit of photography. Thanks again Izabela and happy shooting!
