Epson’s iPrint App –
It seems as if everyone these days has an app for the iPhone. Case in point, Epson recently released their new app called iPrint. This is actually a very cool little program that brings some much needed functionality to the iPhone by allowing them to print to certain Epson printers. Currently you must use one of the network-enabled printers such as the Artisan 810, Artisan 710, or Workforce 610. The app allows printing to several different print sizes as well as paper surfaces. The best thing about the iPrint app is that it’s a free download and is available now from the App store on iTunes.

Now David has a training DVD that demonstrates how he uses small portable lighting to create big studio effects. The two-DVD set is availble for $39.95 at HonlPhoto. Here’s a video teaser inside the training videos.

Photodex releases ProShow Gold 4.1
I have said on more than one occasion that I love my Mac but there are times when I am truly jealous of Windows users, like when Photodex releases a new version of ProShow. If you aren’t familiar with this award winning software, you are really missing out on one of the best photo and video slideshow applications around. Most of my wedding shooter buddies swear by ProShow and for good reason, with drag & drop ease, photo and video editing, motion effects, audio synching, and built-in slide styles, making professional looking slideshows is quick and easy. The latest version adds the benefit of adding slideshows to social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Vimeo right from the program. You can also create slideshow versions that are optimized for portable devices like the iPhone and Blackberry. You can find out more about ProShow and the other Photodex products at the official website or click here to download a trial version. ProShow Gold sells for $69.95.
