This is just one more reason why I have yet to update my Mac to Snow Leopard. Frankly I didn't see enough reasons to update even at the low offering of $29. Most of the updates in the new OS were just tweaks and since my Mac is running well I didn't see the benefit of possibly screwing things up. I'm surprised that Windows hasn't jumped all over the Snow Leopard bugs as a little payback for all the bashing they take from Apple. It just goes to show you that there really is no platform that is bullet proof.

Ref the snow leopard update, I have installed this, works just fine but I had hoped that it might get my copy of CS3 working...but no! Since I installed snow leopard I keep getting a message that says "the licensing for this product has stopped working" when I try to launch CS3, I have found a help article on the Adobe website that deals with this problem so tried to fix it but still it will not launch. tried the various fixes four times already!! tried several uninstalls of CS3 but still no. So I called adobe support who said....CS3 does not work on snow leopard!!!! I took this on the chin at the time (about 3 months ago) and have since found that to be complete rubbish. I have not had the heart to call them back yet as I am only an occasional PS user because Lightroom does most of what I need but it is very annoying none the less. Any readers out there got any good ideas. amazing what great support adobe provides, telling complete lies to make me go away.
