Don’t worry, it wasn’t really an important one to anyone but myself.  I was looking back at my original blog, which is still available for viewing at Blogger, and I noticed that my very first blog post occurred way back on July 29th of 2005.  It’s hard to believe that I have been doing this for four years now.  It’s also very funny to see how the blog has evolved from a space where I would post a couple of pictures now and then to what it is today.

Okay, I’m not really sure exactly what it is today but I must be doing something right since I have 3500 subscribers and thousands of additional visitors every day.  I think part of that comes from the fact that I try to bring you relevant information every M-F, which is not always an easy thing to do when it’s 1AM and your staring at a blank screen. But I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t enjoy writing it.  The blog has also given me the chance to meet a ton of great people from all walks of life with different pursuits and hobbies that all seem to center around photography and Photoshop.  I think I have learned as much from you as you have from me and I love that.

So anyway, if you are super-bored one day and want to take a trip down my memory lane, check out my original blog, Jeff’s Photo Gallery.  Who knows, you just might find something useful there.

I think I owe myself an anniversary present. ;-)

How about treating yourself to a trip to Las Vegas for Photoshop World. That sounds like fun. Maybe you could take your wife and make it a romatic couples weekend. Anyway congrats on four years. Keep pushing those pixels.
