Feeling the Book Love

I just watched the latest episode of Photoshopuser TV only to see an incredibly kind plug for my new Canon 50D book.  They are actually giving away a copy as a prize for this weeks trivia contest.  Also included as prizes are Dave duChemin’s new book, Within the Frame: The Journey of Photographic Vision, and Scott Kelby’s awesome new book, Photoshop CS4 Down & Dirty Tricks.  I had the pleasure of attending Scott’s new Down & Dirty Tricks seminar here in DC I can’t wait to see all the great new stuff in the book (I just got my copy of it yesterday).  If you get a chance to attend one of the tour stops instructed by Scott or Cory Barker, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

I also noticed that there is a new review of my book over at MyMac Magazine.  They did a pretty indepth review of the book and they totally got what the book is all about, teaching 50D owners how to leverage the great features of the camera to make great photographs.  Thanks for the awesome review Bakari!

Worldwide Photowalk Update -

If you tried to sign up for my DC photowalk yesterday you probably noticed that it wasn’t listed in the city pages.  I have already talked to Scott and he is aware of the problem.  We aren’t quite sure why I’m having trouble but rest assured that the web team is on it and it should be up soon.  Just remember that the photowalk is only open to the first 50 to register so be sure to keep checking so you don’t miss out.
