I am a big fan of Art Wolfe, especially his Travels to the Edge show sponsored by Canon.  It is a regular staple on my DVR and I often catch up on episodes as I write my blog entries.  Recently I stopped by his website, ArtWolf.com, to find that it has been redesigned and now includes a blog.  I have already added it to my feed reader and look forward to his updates in the future.Knowing how much he travels, I don’t expect I will see daily entries but I look forward to reading them when he does see fit to post.

Another nice surprise was the announcement that Art will be holding field seminars in Yosemite, Acadia, Zion, and Big Sur this May.  While I don’t know if I would be able to go, it’s nice to know that the opportunity exists to shoot with Art and some of his Travels to the Edge crew.  There are no actual dates for these classes as of yet (it was only announced on the blog) but there are other classes listed on Art’s Education page.  By the way, if you want to check out some of Art’s excellent photography, there is a complete gallery on his website which contains many of his amazing travel images.

Speaking of photography workshops, Moose Peterson and his DLWS crew still have openings for several of their extremely popular workshops this year.

Unfortunately the one workshop that I could probably make, the Outer Banks of NC is already full so I will have to keep waiting.  If you would like to check out the remaining open workshops, head on over to Moose’s DLWS site where you can get all the details.

Finally, I noticed that my buddy Matt Kloskowski is once again loaning his Lightroom and photography know-how to one of the Great American Photography Workshops this year.  Matt usually teaches a couple of these a year and always lands in some fantastic spots with other great instructors.  You can check out Matt’s class as well as all the other GAPW offerings here.

Thanks for the heads up on Art Wolfe. Our 2.5 yr. old granddaughter dearly loves Art Wolfe; she constantly asks to watch Travels to the Edge; he could easily fill up our DVR space.
