I had no idea that, starting a few days ago, users of Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 could no longer access my blog.  The principle reason that I didn’t know was because I don’t use IE7.  Most of my web work is conducted using Firefox, for Mac and PC.  Sometimes I will use Safari, but almost never with the Microsoft browser.  I have found that it is just bloated and slow, and way to picky for me to get anything done.  Firefox is sleek and fast and generally just kicks butt (I am not saying this to open up a discussion on web browsers but feel free to make a comment for your browser of choice).

Anyway, back to the problem at hand.  After discovering the problem I went about trying to diagnose what was causing the issue with IE7.  After disabling all of my WordPress plug-ins and then re-installing one at a time, I found that a javascript in my image viewing plug-in seems to be the culprit.  Unfortunately this plug-in is the one that creates that really cool effect that places my images on a blackened screen on top of the blog page.  I will leave it turned off for the time being so that I don’t lose all of my IE7 readers but if anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears.  That is unless all of you IE users want to make the switch to Firefox.  Hey, it never hurts to ask.

Okay, go ahead and scroll down for my regular Monday blog post.
