Having spent this past Saturday out in The Plains, it was evident to me that if I didn’t get out to Harpers Ferry next weekend, all of the Fall color would be completely gone. Worse than that, all of the leaves might actually be off the trees. That being said, I am going to go ahead and set the date for my walk for next Saturday, the 25th of October. I know this doesn’t work out for everyone but I did want to get some color on the leaves and I will probably be busy that first weekend in November so there you have it.
The walk will start from the parking lot of the train station at 1:00 PM. From there we will work our way through the shops and such on our way up the hill by the church up to the cemetary. From there we will go back down to the railroad bridge and then take the walkway across the river for a different perspective of the town.
There is a chance of rain for Saturday so I will have to keep an eye on the weather for updates. Hopefully it will improve and everything will go off without a hitch. I haven’t set up the Flickr group yet but will get that taken care of in the next day or two as well as getting directions for everyone. Harpers Ferry is a great little town and I hope that you will be able to join me.
