It may be a little on the cool side but it’s supposed to be a pretty nice day this coming Sunday when we launch the Harpers Ferry photowalk at 1:00 pm.  We will kick things off at the historic train station and then head off through town and then make our way up the trail to Jefferson’s rock and then over to the cemetary.  From there we will head back down towards the railroad bridge where anyone that still has the energy can hike across the footbrdge alongside the railroad tracks to the other side of the river.  Hopefully there will still be some color hanging on to the trees.  So if you haven’t made any plans for this Sunday, hop in the car and join us for a great day of shooting and laughs.  Also, be sure to check out the Flickr group where we will deposit our images after the photowalk.

    Hi Jeff,

Is that the train station in Purceville WV for the photowalk meet up? I would love to attend.

No Tony, It is the Harpers Ferry train station that is right in the middle of the historic lower portion of Harpers Ferry, right on the river front. Check out my Flickr Group site for driving instructions.

On nice weekends, that parking lot tends to fill up and there is practically no parking IN Harpers Ferry. Just wanted you guys to know so you can plan to hike from your car to the station, if need be.

I enjoyed meeting up with you. It was a coincidence as I had been there a couple of hours already although I was invited to join earlier in a thread at NikonCafe. I look forward to joining up with you in the future. There are about 50 or more members of NikonCafe.com from the mid-Atlantic region. Maybe we can get some others to tag along in the future.

    Thanks, Rich
