I want to use MPIX but am extremely confused on how to get my image perfect for uploading to them. I use a D300 and own PS3. I've read about the need to re-size and re-sample your image (depending on the size you want) as well as soft-proofing as being a must. I would love to see a video tutorial on getting your image ready and setup for upload to MPIX. Please. :-)

[...] MPIX is in the news again; USA Today did a piece on them about how they’re challenging sites like Shutterfly and Kodak Gallery (you can read that here), and Jeff Revell over at PhotoWalk Pro finally took the plunge, and got his first prints back from MPIX last week (you can read Jeff’s comments here).
Thanks Jeff for sharing my new site with everyone, I still have some work to do on it and it will be updated with more locations on Nov. 1st. He whole idea behind this site is to share some great location for shooting in the SW Florida area. That way everyone can spend more time shooting, less time searching. Hope we can shoot together sometime... Kurt

Many pics in my initial shipment from MPIX were ruined because, although I used "Preview", I added a border and preview does NOT reflect the additional cropping caused by the border. With no way to call - they use email for support - I was sure I'd made a mistake. BUT, after a detailed email with Molly, MPIX understood the problem and did a reprint. (Adding the borders in PS or LR will ensure you aren't surprised like I was.) Happy customer. They do a good job and the flat shipping is great.

I can speak for my r2400 vs Mpix - I think they each have merit -More fine art and small - I will go with a MOAB paper or velvet fine art with the epson - I was at a reception last night in Georgetown at the Law firm I did all that Georgetown work for. I was able to order 7 20x30 standouts on metallic paper and drop ship them for the art they used on the walls of the party. They looked FANTASTIC!!! I am 100% sold on them now. I do not know what else I could have gave them to make them POP like that. Jeff did you print any of your HDR stuff on Metallic? the stand outs I highly recommend.

So how does the prints from M-Pix compare to your Epson 2200. Cost wise that is. With shipping it would be an interesting breakdown. I know when we make the prints ourself, we tend to re-do a few times and that can be costly. Did you get one of their wrap prints or just regular.
