I’m talking about Deke, yes, the Deke of Deke McClelland fame. The author, instructor, and Photoshop guru that brought you 101 Photoshop Tips in 5 minutes. Well, he’s back with his 3rd installment of DekePod and this one is every bit as entertaining as the last two. And how about this Blue Oyster Cult referenced title, “Don’t Fear the Lab Mode“. Follow along as Deke takes an average shot of his backyard and turns it into the Taj Mahal using Lab and the dreaded Brightness and Contrast tool. Okay, Taj Mahal is a bit much and Deke flies through his corrections like “Crazy Legs Conti” at a hotdog stand on the 4th of July. Maybe that’s just Deke’s way of getting you to watch the video over and over again so that his video stats will be way over-inflated… or not. Anyway, when you get a chance, and the kids aren’t in earshot (it’s PG-13) or the boss is at lunch, head on over and give it a watch. It’s gold, baby!
