I was checking out some of the Flickr groups from the World Wide Photowalk and I found that there are a large number of cities still don’t have any images in their photo pools. After seeing this, the thought hit me that the leaders might not realize that they have to approve the images before they area available for viewing. To see if you have images waiting for approval, go to your main group page while you are logged into Flick (you won’t see the message if you aren’t logged in). Look underneath the Group title and if you see a message that says pending next to a triangle with an exclamation point, you have some approving to do (see below).
Click the pending link and it will take you to the approval console. All of the images will be marked for approval so unless there is something in there that you just don’t think belongs, go to the bottom of the dialog and click the UPDATE THE QUE button (see image below) and all of the images will be added to the pool and be ready for viewing. The que will only let you approve a certain amount of photos at a time so you may have to go through the approval process more than once. Such is the life of a photowalk leader.

Thanks, Jeff, for posting this. Sent the link to your blog to our group leader as an “inspiration” as a lot of us have been posting but not seen any results. So we were checking each others streams instead.
