I have some fairly steadfast routines during my day and one of those is getting my daily blog updates with my oatmeal every morning. I can’t possibly check out every page in my reader list (that’s why I have a feed reader) but there are a few that I read without fail. So without further ado, here is the roster of my Breakfast Club.
- Photoshop Insider – Aside from being one of my best buds, Scott Kelby never fails to teach, inspire, and inform me on a daily basis (which is why he gets nasty emails from me when he puts his posts up late).
- The Big Picture – Alan Taylor of the Boston Globe does an outstanding job of bringing current news events to life with big, beautiful images.
- Engadget – Always on the bleeding edge of new technology, these guys offer up the latest and greatest of the gadget and electronics world (I love toys).
- Epic Edits – Fellow blogger Brian Auer is one of the hardest working photo bloggers around and he never fails to present fresh perspectives and information.
- 1001 Noisey Cameras – Like Engadget, the 1001 is the place for any and all information on what’s new in the camera gear world. If it takes pictures, they probably know about it and long before anyone else.
- Accessible – Finally I like to finish of my morning meal with some truly inspirational photography and Uwe Eischens never fails to deliver. He is one of my all-time favorite landscape photographers. His images from around the German countryside are spectacular. If you have never seen his work, give your eyes a treat and check out his site.
This is by no means the entire list of blogs that I try and digest on a daily basis but they are the ones that I start my day with. So what are your daily “must reads”?
And before I close things out for the day I just wanted to give a huge shout of thanks to my buddy Matt Kloskowski for highlighting PhotoWalkPro on the most recent edition of Photoshop User TV. Thanks Matt, and don’t feel bad for not making the breakfast club because yours is one of the first blogs I read when I am supposed to be working. Just kidding boss.

Photoshop Insider, Engadget, and Epic Edits are on my reader as well. I can’t always read the large number of posts Engadget puts out in a day, but sometimes looking at the often comical pictures is enough to make me laugh. And some of the comments people make…hilarious!
