I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend. I am wrapping up a rather stormy weekend down in Corpus Christi. While it has put a damper on our fun, it has limited my time behind the camera so I don’t have much to post. I do have a couple of sites to pass on though to start off your Monday.
First is a new Photography feed site that you might find useful. Alltop has created the feed site where they list 86 different photography sites from some of the most popular photoblogs around like Photoshop Insider, The Online Photographer, The Strobist, and more. I’m not sure how I ranked a link with all those heavy hitters but I’m am honored to be listed among the 85 other great sites. To get your photography fix fast, make sure you go check out Photography.Alltop.Com.
Another site that I use to check out new photo blogs is Blogged.Com. They have a great photo section where they not only list sites but rank them as well. I’m not sure what the ranking criteria is but I think my site is carrying an 8.3 ranking right now. I guess I had better work a little harder to get to that coveted 10 spot. If you would like to discover some new photo blogging sites, go check them out by clicking here.
Finally, if you are a fan of great photography and, more importantly the photographers who shaped our art, you need to go check out The Masters of Photography site. It has full bios on some of the greatest photographers who ever clicked a shutter. The site is full of biographical data, interviews, and collections of their works. Some of the artists included are; Richard Avedon, Lotte Jacobi, August Sander, and many, many more. I could spend hours on this site. To start soaking up some photo history and maybe improve your craft, click here.
That’s about all for now. I’ll try and have something posted for tomorrow, but I am still on vacation so I just might let it slide.
