It seems I posted my fish picture just a bit too early.  I went out this morning and had my first 2 five pounder day.  One weighed 5-02 and the other was 5-13.  Not a bad mornings work.  Okay, now you can scroll down for the rest of the Friday news.  See you all next week.

Looks like a candidate for photoshop disasters. Come on man, fish don’t grow that big on Gaston, only on Anna where the radiation can really make em big. Was you flippn or jiggn? You got some good pie to go with them for dinner. mmmm, pie. OK I’m just really jealous that you guys are hittin em so hard. Later.

Glad to see you are having a great time. One thing though… This photo would have looked much cooler with some off camera flash. You know, maybe use tungsten white balance with a CTO gel on the flash;) Oh wait…this isn’t the Strobist site? Nevermind…

    Have a great weekend!

Comment to Mike – they do grow that big in Gaston. I can also attest to them being “undoctored” in Photoshop as well. We took out the 4 oz bluegill stuck in the big ones throat so the fish actually weighed 5-9. Still envious of the big one. Hotter than all get out but the fishing was awesome.

Nice catch Jeff – post your fish recipe for inquiring minds– I have caught loads of Bass in FL, but never ate, due to not knowing what to do with? Got skunked on the Bay this weekend, to much time on the jetski, not enought with a line in.
