Hi Jeff, I’m a long time reader of your Blog and a first time writer. I like your Blog very much and I visit your page daily. The picture of today’s Blog is more “illustrative” than your usual hdr-pictures. I think this must be the influence of your workshop with Ben Willmore. I´m very interested in the way how you generate this look. Maybe you could by any chance do a Tutorial? Please excuse my bad English skills but I´m, as I’m living in Germany, not an native speaker. Keep up the good work!

Hey Bob, I'm not sure what the issue is. I never had any problems with mine and I have Ver. 1.4 on the same computer. Try checking out the Lightroom Forum for an answer. Chances are someone there has already had the same problem.

Mike,
Lightroom, like the Bridge does not support images at high bit depths like 32-bit. The only time I actually have a 32-bit file is when I have the HDR file which is what gets tonemapped so there really isn't a reason to bring the HDR file into Lightroom.

Does the Beta 2.0 accept the 32 Bit images from Photomatix or Photoshop, or do you need to bust it down to a 16 bit first. Wow 2 days 2 posts for me!

Mark,
You can just use the tonemapping plug-in if you are going to be using Photoshop to create your HDR files (which isn't a bad thing). The full Photomatix program gives you some other capabilities such as creating an HDR file from a single image, such as the one in this article.
