TimeShoot

Shawn King just dropped a reminder email on me so I am sending out this late word for anyone that would like to participate.  The date and time for this shoot is going to be an early one for those of us on the East Coast,  tomorrow, April 9th at 3:00 AM, yes, that’s 0300 hours, Eastern Time.  For those of you that might be reading this in California or Hawaii, you can do the math.  If you are trying to figure this one out in some other part of the world, Shawn suggests using the Time Zone Converter available by clicking here.  If you haven’t participated in a past time shoot, the concept is a pretty easy one.  Have your camera handy and wherever you are at the appointed time, take a picture or two.  Then you can upload them to the Flickr Group.  To do this, just attach your images to an email and send it to “help14army (AT) photos.flickr.com” (remove the quotes and put in a @ where the (AT) is in the address).  Your images will automatically be added to the Flickr Group.  To see previous time shoot images, check out the group at http://www.flickr.com/photos/timeshoot/.  Remember, take photos wherever you happen to be under whatever circumstances you happen to be in at 3am ET (actually, you’ve got a 10 minute leeway on either side of 3am ET).

I have a 14 hour flight ahead of me with a 7 hour layover in Frankfurt so I think I might just have to pass on this one.  Don’t worry Shawn, I’ll catch you on the next one (hopefully it will be a little more towards the daylight hours).
